It has been a couple days back at work for me this week. A number of folks here have asked how my vacation went. This usually entails describing Gulf Games.
Every time I describe the people, atmosphere, and the games I almost re-live the wonderful event that is Gulf Games. I expect for weeks now, when I get into a conversation I will be able to use an experience or observation from Gulf Games to describe all the good things that can be found in this human existence.
I am impressed and awed with the intelligence and manners of the children. The hard work and dedication to Gulf Games by the core group of folks is second only to the wonderful personalities and camaraderie that makes up the event.
It is time to wrap this e-mail up before I get way too gushy. I already pine for Gulf Games 11.
See you in Birmingham!
