Gulf Games 6: Sus Lundgren

Navarre Beach, Florida
October 12 – 15, 2000

Games played that I (a.k.a. we) have to get: The Reef (thanks, Kayla), Dragon Delta, Carabande

Coolest contest: The “guess which box this face comes from” thing. It was great fun sneakin’ around and tryin’ to find out.

Power moment: Getting y’all to drone “Punschpraliner, Sega rttor, Bilar, Polly, Polkagriskarameller, Turkisk Peppar”.
My No. 1 Hero: Kyle, taking my spot & saving me from that incredibly boring (=I sucked at it) “monkey-on-top-of-mountain-game”. Thank you, thank you, thank you… 🙂

Most treasured moment I: Actually the six hours long conversation we had with Sheldon while driving back to Atlanta… It went from games to “Gone with the Wind” to history to cultural differences and back to games again.

Most treasured moment II: The dinner at Cowboys. Just like Magnus said, this GG was more about meeting and being with people that I like, than about gaming.

Secret enjoyment: Drooling all over the prize table (metaphorically, don’t worry).

Most missed: George.

Out of control: My accent! I do speak with an American accent for sure, but its normally more… standard-american, not southern. But with you guys I found myself saying stuff like “y’all”, “ain’t”, “m’am” and “them games”. 🙂 And it has stuck too…!

Superwoman: Vickie.

See y’all, somewhere, sometime!
