We have some fun excursions planned, including Old Salem and Bethabara, the settlement sites of the Moravians, who were forced out of Europe due to their religious beliefs. Bethabara was the original settlement, but they eventually moved to the Old Salem area, which has been preserved and can be toured, with period actors bringing the history to life (akin to Williamsburg, VA). We will also be touring the Guilford Courthouse American Revolution Battlefield. Other planned events will be winery visits, a brewery crawl and more! Pilot Mountain is nearby for those interested in hiking and enjoying nature. There is so much to see and do in the area, you simply must arrive early!

Gulf Games 52 will be headquartered at the Village Inn Hotel & Events Center, located just 10 minutes from downtown and historical sites.
